If you’re up to date with my blog, than you’ll know I posted what I thought was my first apple cider cake recipe I ever made. To my surprise, some years ago I already concocted a scrumptious cider cake for fall. I was browsing through my some old photos and recipes on my prehistoric laptopContinue reading “Butterscotch Apple Cider Cake”
Check out my recipe for these Perfect Fall Cupcakes. They are made with the ideal blend of warm spices. Each cupcake is then filled with a fresh, crisp apple compote. The spice cupcake with tart apple compote is then covered in a smooth, sightly sweet and tangy cream cheese frosting. The cupcakes are then decorated in of course our favorite Fall Sprinkle Mixes: The Shade, Sparkling Cider and Fall Through, to make them even more spectacular. These cupcakes provide the perfect bit of autumn provisions. I promise you once you taste these cupcakes they will become a part of your yearly fall traditions.
What a wonderful opportunity to share a classic recipe that is sentimental and also great for school time or anytime.
For Kobe Day this year, I decided to celebrate low key with continued success and cakesicles.
Being that today is the official holiday, I thought that this would be the perfect opportunity to master the s’more with some homemade marshmallows.
Here we are in month seven of what feels like an accelerated year. It may be the fact that I keep myself so occupied, but I feel like 2021 is in warp speed. Between CCC, Kaleidoscope Sprinkles (my Sprinkle Mix company), my travel blog and being a full-time physician, it seems like these days areContinue reading “INDEPENDENT Day Cereal Bars”
I actually created this tropical cake recipe 10 years ago after visiting another Caribbean paradise. I decided to slightly remix my original recipe to make it even more flavorful and satisfactory for summer.
I can’t believe we are half way into this year already. It’s the month of June, which is full of celebrations! To name a few of my favorites there’s National Hug Your Cat day, National Donut Day, Juneteenth, Black Music month and of course Pride month. I recently returned from vacation at the end ofContinue reading “Pride Mocha Donuts”
I don’t know about you, but this has been a rough week for me. The continual display of senseless harassment and killings of my brothers and sisters has placed another gray cloud over this Spring. The saying goes, “April showers bring May flowers.” Well I think our people have definitely waited long enough to receiveContinue reading “Sock-it-to-Me Cake”
I’m not sure why but most of my dessert ideas come to me at night. Maybe its the fact that my wildest fantasies are food focused. (Greedy girl at heart). One eventful evening I had an idea about combining carrot cake and bread pudding. I woke up thinking “why have I never thought of thisContinue reading “Carrot Cake Bread Pudding with Cream Cheese Whiskey Glaze”
